Is this for your Linux course? The mid-term for my Python course is on Monday.
I see you got the most flattering image of me you could Joe.

You mean the bent over Caleb? I think that's me actually after you killed me for the 100th time!
Yes, my Linux course and also a dumb Human Relations course I'm required to take for my degree. I'm real disappointed in the Linux course. I was hoping I was going to learn something in that class but the instructor has no idea whats going on. He couldn't even setup a virtual machine. The classroom PC's all have Windows 7 installed so we have to run virtual machines to do anything with Linux. No one on the staff can agree on a version of Linux to use so we have about 25 different versions loaded. The textbook is outdated, it refers to Fedora 5 as being the latest version. The instructor does nothing but read directly from the textbook, no input otherwise at all. I can read the textbook myself since I'm basically teaching myself anyway. We are basically just making simple menus in Emacs and vi editor this semester. It's kind of like having a Windows class that teaches you to use Notepad...
Since I'm rambling off topic anyway, what version of Linux do you prefer? I've taken a liking to Kubuntu 13.10

Re: How about a Bloodbath on Halloween?
I was on Fedora for a very long time, and it is still my general workhorse which I use on most of my computers, but in February I switched my main workstation over to Arch Linux, as I was interested in the rolling release model. the Arch Wiki is probably the best Linux documentation on the internet, and I fell in love with the AUR.
As you can see, I use Xfce on my main machine, with GNOME Shell and LXDE deployed on some of my other machines.
And yes, that course does sound awful.
