To flex quickly forwards and backwards is more important than being able to run forwards and strafe left and right at the same time in my book.

P.S. Believe me, I have done a similar config when I had no numpad on a laptop. See, the numpad keys are all lined up and ready to go. It is like a gamepad on your keyboard.
