You could lower its duration or make the duration random, to inspire for some precaution. For Extra Crispy, that is. How will you go about balancing the monster numbers on the higher difficulties when ammunition will be scarcer? You can't really tread too harshly both ways, or we'll all be pitchfork...

Definately looks more like the original. Though the first one was cool as well. Maybe for an ice-themed map?

Okay, there they are.

How do I convert all the sfx. files at once? There's quite many. :)

Hmm, before, I enabled VESA in setup.exe. Now I enabled it in the shortcut.

There doesn't seem to be much of a difference, except the text is a bit smoother and the colours, perhaps, a bit more contrasted.

How do I know the resolution is 640x480/400 and not 320x200? How do I change it?

I can find autoexec.bat, and "additional options". Nolfb.com is there, but it doesn't work.

Sound files

How do you extract the sound effects from Blood? I'd like to have them available externally.

So I should pay the extra $25 for the Deluxe? It's good to be future-proof, I guess.

Also, with the GF 6600GT PCIe, there's a more expensive version with the name "Top" in it (same model otherwise), but it's like $60 more.
I don't know what it does.

Why can't I run Blood in VESA and higher res? All I get is these happy colours and stripes. I've installed the stuff on the XP site. It helped me with sound and all, but not VESA.

My new one will be:

ASUS nForce 4 blah, bluh, numbers and letters.

Athlon64 3000-3200+

1Gig RAM

GF 6600GT PCIe/PCX

Some stuff. Finally I'll be able to play games from past 2003 onwards. :)

Will you make the HUD "ripable", so that we can decide how much info we want in it, like in Blood? I always play with the least amount of information, save for removing the whole thing.
